Stripes and Cords

Today Teddy is wearing a Gap Portobello striped bodysuit that was a gift from my college roommate, Robin.  The Gap cords I bought at a garage sale for a dollar.  They're still a little big(0-3m).

Baby Blue

Well, it's official.  Both of my kids look good in baby blue.  Teddy is wearing a Gymboree Brand New Baby crocodile tee and pants today.  The tee is short-sleeved so I added his hoodie from another Brand New Baby line.  (The newborn layette at Gymboree is always called Brand New Baby.)  The socks are from Gap and actually stay on now that his feet are a little bigger.

Layered Plaid

I found this Gymboree Baby Lizard plaid button down for $3 last week.  I thought with a Carter's bodysuit it would be great for church this fall.  I also found the Gymboree Tiny Copter cargo cords for $3.  They actually don't match at all, but somehow the green looks good with the brown/red/blue plaid.

He kind of looked like a little lumberjack, especially when I put his hat on.

Bunny(Puppy?) Ears

I asked my mom if this Gymboree Brand New Baby hoodie was too girly and she said no.  When I showed it to Tillie this morning she gave me the side eye and said no.  Apparently big sis is already looking out for her little brother and trying to keep him cool.

I don't care, I think it's freakin' adorable!  He's wearing it with his Gap Water Garden bodysuit and Gap Greenwich sweater pants.  I like that I was able to get a few more wears out of the short sleeved bodysuit by layering over it.  It's my favorite clothing item we have in newborn size and I was sad he wouldn't get to wear it anymore.  You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a newborn sized jacket or cardigan.  I really wanted a cream cardigan, but they don't exist for newborn boys apparently.

Puppies

I got this Carter's one-piece for 50¢ at a garge sale.  It's 0-3months, but it seems to run a little smaller than other 0-3m outfits.

Collars for Church

Tillie has always worn woven(or sweater) dresses for church.  For Teddy, he'll mostly likely always have a collar(or a sweater).

This First Impressions collared one-piece is still too big, but with the sleeves and legs rolled it's not too bad.  It's the only collared item he owns in a size that might possible fit him, plus it kind of matched Tillie's outfit today.  It has a screen print of a silver robot on it.

Acorn

I bought this Carter's outfit at a consignment sale when I was pregnant.  It says "I'm nuts about Grandpa" and has an acorn on it.  What's not to love?

Oh, how about the fact that when I went to put it on him I notice that the pants are size 3m, while the bodysuit is newborn.  So, the pants are huge.  I put them on him anyway.  We're kind of lacking in newborn pants, but I'm banking on him growing faster than Tillie so I don't want to buy any.

I got the hat at a garage sale.  It's too small for him already.  I guess Tillie will get it for her Bitty Baby!

Cozy Fleece

Have you gotten sick of seeing Teddy in outfits that are too big for him?  Here's another!  This is a 0-3 outfit from Carter's.  It nice and cozy, but after I put the vest on him I realized it might be a suffocation hazard while he's in his car seat, so he didn't wear that part when we went out today.  Hopefully it fits better in another month or so and he can actually wear it!  I love the blue/green color combo on this outfit.  His socks are from the Gymboree Brand New Baby 5-pack I have, but a new color he hasn't worn before!

Lion

Here's another too big 0-3 month outfit on Teddy.  It's from Gymboree's Brand New Baby line.  I have some Carter's newborn clothes, but they're pretty much just as big as these outfits I've been putting on him lately.  Today is is 7lbs 13oz, so at least he's gaining weight faster than Tillie did!

Still Too Big

Most of Teddy's clothes are still too big for him.  It just hangs at his neck.  Little guy needs to grow because I kind of really hate too big clothes on kids.  This is a 0-3 Gap Greenwich one-piece.  Tillie picked it out, probably because it has animals on it.  The socks are Gymboree Brand New Baby and the hat with a wood button was a gift from a friend.

Baseball

It's totally the wrong colors, but here's hoping the Tigers come around and win this series.  I bought this Carter's outfit for $1 at Sears when I was pregnant with Tillie.  I didn't return it because, hello, a dollar!  It's newborn size but still has a lot of room for this little guy to grow.  The socks are from Gymboree's Brand New Baby line.  Tillie thinks it's so funny they're socks AND shoes.
