Little brothers have to have at least one "little brother" shirt.  Carter's always has them in stock for a great price.

Stripes

I bought this Gap bodysuit super-cheap when I was pregnant, just in case I had a boy.  I think it's from the Water Garden line.  (Let me know if you know for sure!)  Normally I'm not really a bodysuit without pants kind of girl, but he doesn't have any pants that match this that fit him.  And, it's suppose to be 80* today.  His legs will mostly be covered by a blanket all day anyway.

Little Frog

Newborns like to keep their legs all folded up resembling frogs.  That made this Gymboree Playtime Frog romper pretty fitting.  It's preemie size and I bought it for around 50¢ at a garage sale this summer.  Oddly, I have no newborn short sleeved bodysuits so he's wearing a Carter's kimono top underneath.  When Tillie saw him this morning she said, "Ah, Teddy!  He cute!"

He was 7lbs 6oz and 20" long when he was born, so newborn clothes should fit him no problem.  They're ridiculously huge on him though.  I tried a Carter's preemie outfit on him yesterday and it would have been great width-wise, but was way too short.  I have to give a shout out to the Zutano Itzy Bitzy outfit he was wearing yesterday.  The fit was wonderful.  I highly recommend them in the newborn size if you have babies that are around 7lbs. Although, I might stay away from the one-piece outfits if your babies are tall.  I think Teddy would be too tall for a footed newborn one-piece from them.  Also, Amazon typically has good prices on that brand.

Teddy's First Outfit

As Teddy's "coming home from the hospital outfit" we have a cute kimono bodysuit and cocoa hat and pants from Zutano's Forest Fun line.   The cream newborn socks are from The Children's Place.
